06 July 2011: Minister seeks comments on outline draft Code of Practice for Grocery Goods

The Minister for Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation, Richard Bruton T.D. has (press release 6th July 2011) published the Report of the Facilitator appointed to seek agreement regarding the introduction of a Voluntary Code of Practice for the Grocery Goods Sector together with an outline draft Code of Practice prepared by the Facilitator, John Travers.

To assist in framing the provisions of any statutory Code, the Minister is encouraging all interested parties to forward their views on the outline draft Code prepared by Mr. Travers, to his Department at grocerycode@djei.ie by Thursday,1^st September 2011 at the latest.
