What information is available?

Under the FOI Act, access to information is available to the greatest extent possible consistent with the public interest and the right to privacy. The Act applies to all records of the Department created since 21 April 1998, and to all records of a personal nature. The Department’s Section 15 and 16 Manual gives a detailed breakdown of the records held by the Department. Printed copies, or parts thereof, are available on request from the Freedom of Information Unit, Department of Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation, Kildare Street, Dublin 2.
