Our Role

This Section deals with the policy and the reporting requirements of the Department in relation to the ILO (International Labour Organisation) and the European Social Charter of the Council of Europe. (The section has a structure of one Higher Executive Officer (Mr. John B. McDonnell), who reports to one of the Assistant Principals in Employment Rights Section (Mr. Frank Doheny).
