Who Helps Small Business?
- www.selfemployedsupports.ie is provided by the Citizens Information Board. The website aims to provide comprehensive information on the services and entitlements available if you are self-employed and your income is reduced.
- Ireland's 35 City and County Enterprise Boards provide support for small businesses.
- Enterprise Ireland, the government organisation responsible for the development and growth of Irish enterprises in world markets.
- BASIS (Business Access to State Information and Services) provides business with a single access point to Government information and services.
EUGO
The EUGO network of Points of Single Contact assists business to provide services in the EU by proving information and assistance with completing the relevant administrative procedures required.
Irish based businesses can access information through the relevant Point of Single Contact on the procedures required for doing business in the EU. (e.g an Irish business can contact the Hungarian Point of Single Contact if they wish to provide services in Hungary).
The Irish National Point of Single Contact website can also be found in the link below.

The SME Section of the Department ensures that the interests of Irish SMEs are taken into account in the development and execution of policy initiatives at national and international level, but it does not provide assistance to individual small firms.
