EU Standardisation Package
The European Commission adopted a Standardisation Package on 1 June 2011
The Package comprises a Commission Communication outlining the future strategy and political direction for standardisation and a Proposal for a Regulation detailing the legislative changes necessary.
Consultation by the Department of Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation
The Department of Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation is engaging in a consultation exercise with interested parties and organisations. Interested parties are urged to submit their comments on the EU Standardisation Package (PDF, 73KB) to the Department.
