COMPETITION AUTHORITY PRINCES HOLDINGS LIMITED/SUIR NORE RELAYS LIMITED LIBERTY MEDIA AL, INC./ARINGOUR LIMITED

The Tánaiste and Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment has referred for investigation to the Competition Authority (a) the proposed acquisition by Princes Holdings Limited of the entire issued share capital of Suir Nore Relays Limited and (b) the proposed acquisition by Liberty Media AL Inc. (a wholly owned subsidiary of Liberty Media Corporation) of Aringour Limited (which wholly owns Cable Management (Ireland) Limited). The referrals are in accordance with Section 7(b) of the Mergers and Takeovers (Control) Acts 1978 to 1996.

The Competition Authority is inviting submissions on the matter, to be received by 4 p.m. on Tuesday 19th October.
