Vice Premier of the Peoples Republic of China to Make Official Visit to Ireland

Ms. Mary Harney, TD, Tanaiste and Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment, today (Monday 10 ^th April 2000) announced that Mr. Li Lanqing, Vice Premier of the Peoples Republic of China, has accepted her invitation to pay an official visit to Ireland from 18^th to 21^st April next.

During his visit, The Tanaiste and the Vice Premier will discuss Trade and Economic matters.

The Vice Premier will also be received by the President and the Taoiseach.
