Minister Kitt urges renewed effort to resolve dispute
The Minister for Labour Affairs, Mr Tom Kitt TD, this morning (Wednesday 21st February, 2001) urged both sides in the dispute involving British Midland and its Irish based employees to use the labour relations machinery of the State in a renewed effort to resolve their differences.
Minister Kitt said, "I would urge both sides in the dispute to use the services of the Labour Court to adjudicate on their differences and so facilitate an early resolution of the dispute."
