Tánaiste Expresses Gratitude to Dan Flinter

Mary Harney, Tánaiste and Minister for Enterprise Trade and Employment expressed her deep appreciation for the enormous contribution made by Dan Flinter, Chief Executive Officer of Enterprise Ireland.

The Tánaiste said: "Over the last decade Dan has been to the forefront in the development of Irish enterprise. Through his leadership of Forbairt and more recently Enterprise Ireland, which brought together Forbairt and An Bord Tráchtála, he has been an innovative and enthusiastic driver in the development and promotion of Irish companies in the world marketplace"

"On my own behalf and on behalf of my colleagues I want to thank Dan for his extraordinary contribution to the development of Irish Industrial Policy. Dan will be missed as CEO of Enterprise Ireland however I have not doubt he will continue to play an important role in Irish industry. I wish him every success in the future."
