Micheál Martin TD, Minister for Enterprise, Trade & Employment announces €1 million investment by Enterprise Ireland in Delta Off Site Solutions

Minister for Enterprise Trade and Employment, Micheál Martin T.D announced a €1 million investment from Enterprise Ireland in Delta Off-Site Solutions, Ireland’s leading off-site manufacturer of quality bathroom and kitchen pods. The indigenous company currently employs 250 full time team members at its facilities in Macroom and Cobh and the company is committed to increasing that number to 365 by January 2007. Commenting, Minister Martin said “Delta Off Site Solutions are a prime example of what Irish companies can achieve - rapid growth based on world-class products and investment in research and development. I would like to acknowledge the determination, ambition and leadership of the management team at Delta, who have taken on the challenge of establishing and growing an internationally competitive new business”.

The company, which turned over in excess of €17million last year, has plans to more that double it’s turnover in 2006 with more than 30% of this volume expected to be derived from export markets .The company also sources more than 75% of its materials from local and national vendors and has allow several other Irish companies to grow and expand to support Delta’s aggressive growth.
