Statement from Micheál Martin TD following ICTU’s formal ratification of Towards 2016

Micheál Martin TD, Minister for Enterprise, Trade & Employment today (Tuesday 5^th September) welcomed ICTU’s formal ratification of the new partnership agreement, Towards 2016.

Commenting Minister Martin said that we are entering a new era of employment rights in Ireland, “The establishment of a new statutory Office of the Director for Employment Rights Compliance (ODERC), which will be under the aegis of my Department will ensure an independent and workable inspection regime which will ensure employment rights compliance”.
