Minister Micheál Martin Witnesses Signing of €2 Million contract between BMA GeoServices and NuCoal

Participants in the Enterprise Ireland Trade Mission to South Africa, BMA GeoServices today (Wednesday 20^th September) have agreed a €2 million contract with NuCoal to provide specialist geologically related services to enable NuCoal to carry our coal exploration on their numerous South African properties. In addition, BMA will provide Environmental Management and Legal services so that prospecting and mining rights may be secured on Greenfield targets. Follow-on studies will include hydrogeology, engineering geology, geophysics, geotechnics.

Witnessing the signing of the agreement in Johannesburg, South Africa, Minster Martin said: “This is a great example of a small Irish company providing state of the art technology based solutions into niche segments of a growing market. Both companies are confident that their relationship will lead to further business over the coming years”.
