Minister Martin Opens Kinsale Road Interchange
Micheál Martin TD, Minister for Enterprise, Trade & Employment today (Monday Oct 9th) officially opened the N25/N27 Kinsale Road Interchange.
Commenting, Minister Martin said, “This new interchange is a vital part of Cork’s national road infrastructure in terms of the county’s continued economic development. I have no doubt that the alleviation of this bottleneck will benefit all road users, including private, commercial and tourist by improving service and access along this strategic route including access to Cork airport”.
“The opening of N25/N27 Kinsale Road Interchange is another major milestone in the upgrading of our national road network. With upgraded roadways, journey times will be cut and movement of goods becomes more efficient. In today’s competitive environment, time savings generate an economic advantage and these savings are translated, ultimately, into jobs. Despite the phenomenal success of the Irish economy in recent years, the creation and maintenance of jobs remains a priority for everyone of us”, concluded Minister Martin
