Minister Martin announces Enterprise Ireland Client eSpatial Partners with PCI Geomatics to Launch On-Demand Mapping Center at the Natural Resources Centre Canada
Micheál Martin T.D., Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment,today (Wednesday October 18th 2006) announced that Dublin based eSpatial, a leading provider of spatial information management technology, have agreed a Strategic Technology Partnership with PCI Geomatics.
The alliance will combine eSpatial's and PCI's image management products and solutions software to created a unique integrated GeoSpatia solution.
Speaking at the event in Canada Minister Martin said, “eSpatial is a cutting edge example of a young Irish company making key international partnerships”
The advanced system will be used by the Natural Resources Canada (NRCAN) National Mapping Centre to continuously gather and processes pan-Canadian geospatial satellite and other data to generate and disseminate maps on demand.
