Minister Martin commends EI Client companies as they announce key strategic partnerships in Canada

KAYMed announce deal with Canadian company Mega

Fintrax announces deal with Intercontinental Hotel in Montreal

On the final day of the Enterprise Ireland trade Mission to Canada Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment, Micheál Martin, announced that two Irish companies had signed significant partnerships with Canadian Companies.

Speaking at the announcements Minister Martin said, “Both companies are another example of the success of Irish based companies, who with the support of Enterprise Ireland have successfully taken the step into the international market”.

Fintrax, a Galway company has announced a new deal with the Intercontinental Hotel in Montreal which will see the Hotel upgrade to an new software package Syncro, which will enable the hotel invoices to be electronically processed.

KayMed, a Dublin company which develops furnishings as well as packaging components for the IT industry has announced a deal with Canadian company Mega. Mega has the most experienced retail design team in Canada and will help provide extensive access to the Canadian market.

Minister Martin congratulated both companies on their ability to target and find a niche in the international marketplace that matches their particular products.

KayMed is a family business founded nearly 100 years ago adjacent to the Dublin Quays. The company has six company locations (four in Ireland and two in the UK).
