Minister Martin expresses disappointment at Magna Donnelly job losses

Micheál Martin TD Minister for Enterprise, Trade & Employment this evening expressed his deep disappointment at the announcement today (Friday December 1^st 2006) by Magna Donnelly that they are to close their operations.

Minister Martin said. “Magna Donnelly has provided valuable employment in Naas over a long number of years and its closure will come as a shock to both the workers employed in this operation and the wider community”

“I have asked that every support will be made available to the staff of the company by the state agencies to assist those affected by this announcement to find alternative employment as soon as possible," the Minister added.
