FÁS Statement

The Secretary General of the Department of Enterprise, Trade and Employment, Sean Gorman will clarify any issues in relation to the severance package of the former Director General at the next hearing of the PAC. In the meantime it can be confirmed that the car was not part of the severance package negotiated with the Department and sanctioned by the Department of Finance. It was a matter for the FAS Board which agreed to allow retention of this vehicle.
