The Office of Science and Technology (S&T Unit) advises the Minister on the strategy for the prioritisation, preparation and implementation of national and international programmes in science and technology. The Office of Science and Technology formulates policy in Science, Technology and Innovation, inter alia, by reviewing the experience of existing schemes and by researching the trends and indicators, both physical and financial, of the developments in science and technology in Ireland and internationally.
Investment in Science & Technology
The Office of Science and Technology is responsible for liaising with and providing financial oversight functions on several key funding streams, particularly in the third level sector.
