Import Licensing arrangements for 2011
The following information is provided in relation to import licensing arrangements for 2011.
TEXTILE AND CLOTHING PRODUCTS:
TEXTILES SUBJECT TO QUOTA RESTRICTIONS
- Belarus
The importation into the EU of textiles originating in Belarus falling under the following textile categories will continue to be subject to quantitative quotas and require an import licence:
1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 15, 20, 21, 22, 24, 26, 27, 29, 67, 73,115, 117, 118.
- North Korea
The importation into the EU of textiles originating in North Korea falling under the following textile categories will continue to be subject to quantitative quotas and require an import licence:
1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 24, 26, 27, 28, 29, 31, 36, 37, 39, 59, 61, 68, 69, 70, 73, 74, 75, 76, 77, 78, 83, 87, 109, 117, 118, 142, 151A, 151B and 161.
OUTWARD PROCESSING TRADE FOR TEXTILES (OPT)
OPT arrangements for goods originating in Belarus will continue to apply in 2011. These arrangements will only apply to materials exported in 2011.
IRON & STEEL PRODUCTS:
The importation into the EU of certain iron and steel products originating in countries outside the EU are subject to either quantative restrictions, double surveillance or prior surveillance measures and require an import licence.
