Internal Market Unit Guidelines and Procedures
The Commission Recommendation C(2001)3901 final of the 7th of December 2001 on principles for using “SOLVIT” – the Internal Market Problem Solving Network, lays down a set of working principles addressed to the Member States’ SOLVIT Centres to be followed when they are dealing with SOLVIT cases.
A framework agreement concerning the provision of national expertise for the implementation of the EC Phare multicountry programme on the preparation of the countries of central and eastern Europe for integration into the internal market was signed by the Irish government and the European Commission in 1997. This framework agreement provides the guidelines for the operation of the TAIEX initiative.
Guidelines for dealing with our customers are provided in the Department’s Customer Service Action Plan 2001-2004 which can be viewed at: http://www.djei.ie/csap.pdf
