Minister Bruton and Minister Nash welcome the start of European SME Week

The Minister for Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation, Mr Richard Bruton, T.D. and the Minister for Business and Employment, Mr Ged Nash, T.D. today welcomed the start of European SME Week which takes place from today until next Sunday (Monday 29th September- Sunday, 5th October 2014).

26 jobs in Ireland and contracts worth almost €10million for Irish companies were among the initial, immediate results of the trade and investment mission to Australia, Minister for Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation Richard Bruton TD announced at the conclusion of the mission this weekend.

EMC robotics initiative to promote STEM learning in primary schools

Robotics initiative, VEX IQ, designed to teach primary school children the value of STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) learning and drive an interest in technology, was launched at the EMC Centre of Excellence in Cork today by Minister for Skills, Research and Innovation Damien English TD.
