Irish technology company Redfaire creates forty jobs at its headquarters in Limerick

LIMERICK, IRELAND: Redfaire, an Irish IT Services and Software company headquartered in Limerick, today announced the creation of forty jobs to support its fast-growing international customer base.

The jobs are in a range of roles including, IT Support, Sales, Software Product Development and Cloud IT Consultants. The company expects to continue its expansion in Limerick over the next three years to support its ambitious growth targets. Redfaire currently employs forty-three people in Ireland as well as a further seventy-seven at offices in the UK and France.

Redfaire’s growth since the beginning of 2016 is thanks, in part, to winning a contract with international convenience store brand Circle K, previously known as Statoil Fuel and Retail. Circle K also recently acquired Topaz Ireland. Redfaire offers 24/7 support 365 days a year to Circle K’s European team covering Oracle ERP. Redfaire won the business when Circle K decided to move IT support from India to Europe. Redfaire is also expanding staff levels to meet the increasing demand for Oracle’s suite of Cloud products and to scale its software business.At an event in Limerick City Hall this evening with the Minister for Finance, Michael Noonan TD, representatives from the Oslo office of Circle K, Minister of State for Employment & Small Business Pat Breen, Mayor of the City and County of Limerick, Councillor Kieran O’Hanlon, and Enda McDonnell, Manager, Global Sourcing, Public Procurement, Business Process Outsourcing, Business and Consumer Services at Enterprise Ireland, congratulated Redfaire on their success.

Speaking in Limerick today the Minister for Finance, Michael Noonan TD said:

“It’s a great pleasure to announce yet more jobs for the Limerick area today. Redfaire is a great example of how Irish companies are connecting to the wider world and growing the tech sector in Ireland. Connections with the education institutions in the city have also played an important role in the development of Redfaire. By matching the talent available to high quality jobs, Redfaire has helped the people of Limerick, the company’s partners in business and the national ability to meet the needs of the tech sector. Limerick is grateful to Redfaire’s founders for their determination to maintain links with their home town.”

Speaking at the event today Minister Breen said: “I am delighted to be here today to continue with the momentum of recent job announcements for the Midwest. I am particularly heartened that Redfaire is an Irish indigenous company, a home-grown success, that has grown and developed with the support of Enterprise Ireland. All jobs created have a very positive impact on the economy and wider region. Redfaire’s success is further proof that indigenous Irish companies can compete and win at the very highest levels internationally. I wish Redfaire and their team all the very best for their future in the Midwest.”

Mayor of the City and County of Limerick, Cllr Kieran O’Hanlon said: “I’m delighted that Redfaire is creating highly-skilled jobs in Limerick.” Cllr O’Hanlon went on to say that, “The Redfaire story shows all that is best in Limerick, it was founded by LIT alumni and Redfaire has partnered closely with all the local stakeholders including LIT, UL, the City and County Council and other local businesses to ensure that the right skills are available in Limerick for the roles that are being created.”

Redfaire is a great example of an Irish internationally traded services company with global ambition, competing and winning sustained business in overseas markets. The company is an award-winning Oracle Partner that can help companies to implement, optimise and support Oracle ERP software. Redfaire has also co-developed ARCTOOLS, a data management software tool. Redfaire is an Irish company with a global footprint. They are scaling a global business from Limerick and have successfully completed projects all over the world, from Panama to the Ivory Coast. Redfaire also works with many well-known clients such as, Bewleys and Milano and PizzaExpress restaurant group.

The event finished with Mr. Barry Yelverton, co-founder of Redfaire presenting prizes to a group of LIT technology students on behalf of NetworkIrlande, a Franco-Irish business network. Presenting the prizes Mr. Yelverton said that, “Everyone at Redfaire recognises and appreciates the incredible support we have received locally, nationally and even internationally from our Embassies and the Irish Diaspora. Being involved in the NetworkIrlande web-design competition with LIT is, we hope, a small way of showing our appreciation for all the support we have received.
