Launch of the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO) Survey on Orphan Works

The European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO) is responsible for managing the single European Orphan works database in accordance with the requirements of Directive 2012/28/EU. The EUIPO, through its Observatory, is now carrying out a survey on Orphan works.

The aim of this online survey is to collect information from stakeholders regarding the use of the Orphan works database, as well as identifying what measures could be taken to ensure that the benefits of the orphan works system are fully realised.

The survey will run until 19th May 2017 and can be accessed at the following address: www.tmdn.org/uss/466892/lang-en

(EUIPO has advised that Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome web browsers are recommended for the best possible experience).

Any queries in relation to this survey should be addressed directly to the EUIPO at: observatory.orphanworks@euipo.europa.eu.
